Dear Friend,
Happy Thursday! Today I want to tell you a story of how God is at work in Japan.
In the city of Osaka, a team of IMB missionaries is building relationships through tutoring people as they learn the English language.
That's how Yuki (again, not his real name)—a shy college student—came to know Jesus.
But his life changed when he met Jesus after accepting an invitation to study Scripture with his English tutor.
Today, he is full of joy and constantly looking for ways to serve others and share his faith.
He might have never walked into a Bible study, but through English lessons, IMB missionaries found a way to share Jesus with him.
And today, we can celebrate that Yuki is now our brother in Christ!
Would you join us in praying for him? Pray that he continues to grow in his faith and finds boldness to live out the gospel in his community.
Yuki's story is just one of many.
Across the world, God is transforming lives whether through English tutoring, Scripture translation, or even clean water projects.
And here's the beautiful part: we all have a role to play. Whether through prayer, encouragement, or simply sharing what God is doing, you can be part of His mission to reach the nations.
I'm so thankful that God invites us to do what we can from wherever we are, to join Him, so that a great multitude from every nation — all tribes and peoples and languages — can know Jesus.
With a grateful heart,
