Dear Friend,
Rami* is a master sandwich maker.
He's also a graduate student, working hard to finish his degree while holding down a job at a local shawarma shop in Canada.
That's where IMB missionaries met him—over a late lunch and a plate of seasoned lamb.
But what started as a quick meal turned into something so much more.
Rami is part of the North African and Middle Eastern community in Canada. He was eager to learn English, so our team invited him to a weekly English club. He came—week after week—and heard stories from Scripture.
At a church picnic, Rami connected with a local believer who invited him over for dinner. That night, they shared the gospel with him and gave him a Bible.
Now, Rami is reading the Word for himself. He's asking questions. He's coming back.
And he's closer than ever to encountering Jesus.
God is working through simple conversations over meals to reach people like Rami.
Together, we're reaching the nations—one conversation at a time.
Gratefully,
