Dear Friend,
Recently, IMB missionaries commissioned a new facility, Lead Global Training Center, in Nairobi, Kenya, to prepare Africans to reach the nations.
This milestone marks a significant step in the vision of equipping African churches to send out missionaries to the ends of the earth—a vision that has been long held by the IMB.
The new center, directed by IMB missionary Chad Pumpelly, aims to equip churches to engage unreached people groups effectively.
Pumpelly's wife, Miriam, says, "Our hope is for African believers to own their part in the Great Commission and for us to equip those who are already called, so they can use their skills for God's glory throughout the world."
With a focus on training missionaries who can engage unreached people groups, the Lead Global center hopes to see African churches sending missionaries independently, making a lasting impact across the globe.
Pasifique, a believer from Burundi, was trained through the center and has already shared the gospel in a difficult region, seeing 16 new believers baptized. His passion to train others in evangelism and church planting reflects the growing desire among African churches to send out their own missionaries.
I hope you will take a moment to read more about the vision, dedication, and the work taking place through Lead Global by clicking this link: https://www.imb.org/2025/01/28/new-training-center-prepares-african-missionaries-to-reach-nations/
The future of African missions is bright, and we are excited to see how this new initiative will empower churches across Sub-Saharan Africa to reach the nations with the gospel. Thank you for being part of what God is doing globally through your prayers and support.
In Christ,
