Good morning. Siding with a Christian counselor in Colorado, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a law banning therapists from engaging in talk therapy to help minors seeking to change their sexual orientation or help youth struggling with gender dysphoria accept their sex. In other news making headlines this week, Gateway Church founder Robert Morris was released from the Osage County Jail in Oklahoma following a six-month sentence for committing sexual abuse of a child in the 1980s. On the Opinion page, Isaac Beck blasts the Chicago Bulls' firing of Jaden Ivey for sharing his Christian faith and says calling it “conduct detrimental to the team” is a direct affront to Christians who hold to traditional biblical theology. Lastly, the pastor who officiated a funeral where 10 people gave their lives to Christ after a gun-wielding man nearly ended the service spoke with CP about the incident and how it led people to seek salvation. |
