I'll never forget this runner

Hey friend,

In the early days of our business, I spent most of my time visiting run specialty stores and working marathon expos around the country. I'd come back to North Carolina and share everything I was hearing with my dad and brother.

Of all the conversations I had out on the road, one about a runner in pain has always stayed with me.

The day before the New York City Marathon, a man stopped by our booth and told me his plantar fasciitis had just started flaring up. He knew changing things up right before a marathon would be a gamble, but getting to the start line mattered more.
