More Cool Jewelry Display Ideas and Tutorials

Posted: 08 Sep 2011 04:00 AM PDT

Fall is the time of year when many artisans are getting ready for the bumper crop of craft shows.  Jewelry displays are key to showcasing jewelry properly. So here are more jewelry display ideas and tutorials.

Dawn Kruchoski of DMJ Discount Jewelry shared her pictures of her free standing pegboard display over on Rena's blog. It was conceived for speedy use.

Dawn's display folds flat easily and can be used adjacent to a standard display table.  Her jewelry items are all ready to hang onto the display using shop type pegs in short order as you can see from her transport box below :

Mindie over at the Bacon Time with the Hungry Hypo blog shared this super ring organizer idea using an ordinary thread organizer from her local Walmart store. It was plain wood so she painted it.

Those of you who make romantic styled jewelry might be interested in Niamh's tutorial on Urban Threads. Her Lace on Lace jewelry holder is a lovely variation of the picture frame style of earring holders.

I could kick myself now for throwing away the oven racks when my ancient stove finally quit. Staci and Marina over at JustSewSassy saw the potential of old racks and shared the tutorial. A quick spray of metallic paint and there you have it, a splendid jewelry hanger.  If you want to use it for a table top display, find a small artist's easel to display the rack.

Stephie also used paint to transform finds Goodwill store of wooden mug holders and a lazy susan into a fabulous jewelry organizer set. Via

The Sophia Lamp is a 2-in-1 design originally conceived by BabaAkcja and produced by the Polish company, VOX Industrie.   It's a brilliant concept because the holes in the lamp shade are used to hang earrings.  The light will definitely play up bling very well.  Holes in tall lamp shades without the lamps will work well too.
