LED Bracelet and Neck Lights Brighten Dark Places

Posted: 02 Dec 2011 04:00 AM PST

Light up jewelry? Really cool!  They are actually practical lighting solutions rather than adornment but jewelry works too if you want to be different!

First up is the LED Wrist Light. The bangle style bracelet has a snap on lock and works off 4 battery operated LED lights. Saves having to use a flashlight in some situations.

I particularly like the wearable Huglight Hands Free Flexible light. It's great for reading books in the dark without having to deal with those awkward clips as it hangs on your neck!

As you can see it's a great task light for craft enthusiasts! It's also firm enough to use it as a table light or hook it on some convenient support.

Rainbow Crystal Anklets Rule!

Posted: 01 Dec 2011 03:00 PM PST

Beading is a contagious activity. If you don't believe me, just check out these designs from 3 beaders at a beading party back when the weather was warmer.

They all made rainbow anklets from multicolored crystals! These are guaranteed to match just about anything in the wardrobe.

Cathy made both a bracelet and an anklet. Her bracelet featured bicones and alternating metal beads.

Johnette made her anklet differently by simply spacing her metal beads much wider apart.

Sue didn't resort to bicones but to faceted rondelles instead. The crystal rondelle elements do add some elegance to her design as does the rondelle charm.
