Russian beader, Natalia Likso, has two wonderful beaded snowflake tutorials which could be used as pendants or Christmas ornaments. Your choice. You will need to use Google Translate to read it in English.
The first one is my favorite.
The second one is also pretty. I would try beading these with fine wire to maintain the structure. Or perhaps do several thread passes. What do you think?
