3D Celtic Triquetra Knot Beaded Earrings Tutorials

I just love the look of this 3D Celtic Triquetra knot beaded earrings!  Something different and visually pleasing. The tutorial is by Russian bead artist Olesya Romaniuk of ViPBiser.  The video tutorial shows the animated beading process of the tubular Ndebele or herringbone stitched earrings.

It is sometimes difficult to follow the thread passes in the video. But luckily the instructor has a few helpful diagrams on her site. The design requires changes in beading direction. So this tutorial is best suited to those who have had some experience with this stitch.

The triquetra knot is an ancient symbol most commonly associated with Celtic designs. It is also known as the trinity knot.  This design element is sometimes used in claddaghs (traditional Irish rings) as it is believed to "represent the three promises of a relationship such as to love, honour, and protect."
