Dear Friend,
Recently, Michelle Chitwood, wife of IMB president Paul Chitwood, and Lynette Ezell, wife of the North American Mission Board president Kevin Ezell, led a special short-term mission trip to Lusaka, Zambia. The experience highlighted the power of diverse groups uniting for a common purpose — in this case, the gospel.
During the trip, women gathered for a pastors' wives tea, where they found themselves connected through shared experiences and prayers. Despite the thousands of miles separating their homelands, the women discovered that their challenges and joys in ministry were remarkably similar. As Michelle Chitwood reflected, "We really are better together," emphasizing that spiritual lostness is a global issue, and only in unity can the gospel be spread to all nations.
The team worked with local churches and on community projects to support and empower Zambian believers.
This powerful experience is a testament to how giving, sending, and praying together can make a significant impact. Their story is a powerful reminder of the importance of coming together — whether through financial support, short-term missions, or prayer — to advance the gospel.
