For missionaries like Clarissa Morrison, the IMB Sending Celebration is a profound milestone—it marks the fulfillment of a calling and the beginning of a mission to share the hope of Christ with the nations.
Years ago, Clarissa encountered a Hindu student on a college campus who asked her to pray for him. Though she never saw him come to Christ, that moment shaped Clarissa's calling. She devoted her life to discipling college students, inspiring them to reach international students on campus and encouraging them to share the gospel wherever they went.
After years of leading her students to love God and the nations, Clarissa is now answering God's call to serve as an IMB missionary in Montreal, Canada.
IMB Sending Celebrations honor the obedience of missionaries like Clarissa, who boldly follow God's call to the nations. They remind us that we are part of something much bigger—a global mission to make disciples among all peoples.
We invite you to join us virtually for our next Sending Celebration and witness the commissioning of missionaries as they step out in faith to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.
