Dear Friend,
Romans 10:17 says that "faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ."
But what if you couldn't hear? How would life be different for you?
The global Deaf population has unique linguistic needs. Any people who need to hear the gospel still have no access to God's Word in a language they can understand.
That's why I want to tell you Jacob's story.

When he became deaf at 13, he asked his priest to pray over him for healing. But he remained deaf and grew frustrated with God for not answering his prayer.
Years later, Jacob happened upon a sign language training and began to observe. The group leader noticed his interest and invited him to join, but Jacob declined.
Thankfully, the leader didn't give up.
The group leader was able to catch up with Jacob, and after hearing his story, explained that God has a plan for Jacob's life, and that God might even want Jacob to use his deafness to glorify Him. Jacob's hurt suddenly looked more like hope. He asked to observe the group and began to help with the Bible translations. And for the first time, Jacob was able to see the gospel in a way that he could understand it. As a result, he put his faith in Christ!
Now imagine how many others like Jacob simply need to hear or see the gospel in a language they can understand.
This is the power of Bible translation. This is the work God invites us to join
Let's celebrate the incredible opportunity God gives us to take part in His mission.
Thank you for standing with us in this life-changing work.
In Christ,
