Dear Friend,
For too long, Deaf communities around the world have had little-to-no access to the gospel. Not because they're unreceptive, but because they've been unreached.
The barrier is language.
There are hundreds of sign languages across the globe, but in many countries, there are:
- No churches that use sign language
- No pastors trained to preach in sign language
- No Scripture translated into their visual language
Even where churches exist, Deaf people are often left out, unable to follow spoken sermons or engage with printed Bibles that don't match the structure of their language.
But this fall presents a rare opportunity to change that.
Thousands of Deaf individuals from around the world will gather in one place, and our missionary team is preparing to meet them with the hope of Jesus, communicated clearly in sign language.
We need your help to make it happen. Here are three powerful ways you can be part of this:
- Pray. Ask God to open hearts, give our team wisdom, and multiply lasting fruit through this outreach. Your prayers are the foundation for every step we take.
- Give. We must raise $110,000 by August 31 to fully fund this mission. Your gift will provide travel, interpretation, training, and the outreach tools needed to reach those who have never heard the gospel. Every dollar matters: give now »
- Share. Help us multiply the reach. Forward this message or share the page below so others who care about the unreached can join in: https://www.imb.org/generosity/deaflympics/
This is a chance to open doors that have remained closed for far too long, and you can be part of it.
Please consider making a gift today: https://www.imb.org/generosity/deaflympics/
Each and every gift moves us closer to reaching the Deaf with the gospel.
I pray you'll consider joining us.
