Dear Friend,
On this Christmas Day, I want to pause and thank God for you.
Today, we celebrate the greatest gift the world has ever received: that God sent His Son so that all who believe in Him might have life. It is a message of hope for every nation, tribe, people, and language. And it is the reason IMB missionaries go to the ends of the earth—to tell a world in darkness that the Light has come.
As you gather with family and friends, I pray that the joy of Christ fills your home and your heart. And I pray you are encouraged knowing that, all around the world, countless believers—some in thriving churches, others in small new gatherings, and others still worshiping quietly in places where the gospel is not welcomed—are celebrating the same miracle today.
In unreached communities, our missionaries will spend Christmas much like any other day: learning languages, forming relationships, sharing meals, and praying for open doors. Their calling continues because the message of Christmas is too precious to keep to ourselves.
Thank you for standing with us as we work to ensure that every person, everywhere, has the opportunity to respond in faith to the good news of Jesus. Your prayers, your encouragement, and your partnership mean more than you know.
