In just a few hours, Giving Tuesday will end—and with it, an incredible opportunity to help take the gospel to people who have never heard the name of Jesus.
All day long, believers around the world have been praying and giving with one purpose: to see lives and communities transformed by the gospel. And God is using that generosity in powerful ways—like in one South Asian village where IMB missionaries Keith and Morgan Rawlings serve.
When the Rawlings first arrived in a village of 3,000 people, not one person had ever heard the name of Jesus. The people there worshiped many gods, including a rock formation at the edge of town.
At first, they faced rejection and hostility. But through prayer, persistence, and a simple act of service—a small medical clinic—God opened the door for the gospel.
Soon, one man believed. Then his wife. Then a church was born.
Today, that man's daughter, Stuti, is 6 years old—joyfully singing and clapping along in a church her parents helped plant.
"There is a generation of South Asian children, for the first time in the history of this place, being brought up in churches that worship and follow Jesus," Morgan said.
