Lovely Felt Necklace Tutorials to Try

Posted: 14 Jan 2012 04:00 AM PST

Felting enthusiasts will no doubt have their own stash to use up. So why not try and make some mixed media necklaces like these lovely designs featured here?  Mixed media creations are all the rage!

Carolyn on the Wishing Elephant blog  used felt sheets for her pretty felt poppy flower tutorial above.  The  felt flowers can be used for necklaces, hair jewelry, brooches and just about anywhere for a splash of color!

This lovely inspirational necklace uses felt balls and flower beads. The instructions on how to put it together is here. You can buy felt beads rather than make them.  But if you are game to try, Better Homes and Garden's slideshow tutorial on colorful wool felted beads is excellent.

Emi who writes the Small Good Things blog has a lovely circle felt necklace tutorial that uses clever paper molds to make the felt discs.

A different take on the felt flower idea and equally as pretty is the bib-style necklace tutorial by Michelle over at Delicate Construction.
