Use Color Pencils to Make a Wearable Art Necklace

I would never ever have thought to use colored pencils for a necklace project! 


Well, Colleen McGinty over at the Faber and Castell blog just opened up a whole world of possibilities with her awesome mixed media necklace tutorial.

The hand colored canvas pieces will certainly bring out the artist in you!  Crafters will probably have the art materials already in addition to glass beads,metal chain and findings. Experiment with different shapes and colors for your own unique version.
