Heidi over at Sew, Craft and Create has a really pretty rosette bracelet tutorial which does just that. Another plus is her use of a jewelry component. You could always recycle an old earring or a vintage brooch. She uses a serger for the edges of the fabric strip but an ordinary zig-zag stitch will also work. Make several rosettes and you've got yourself a bib necklace! This lovely Prada inspired rosette and rhinestone earrings tutorial is by Erica over at Honestly...WTF. She used resin rosette and a rhinestone frog closure. I am thinking one could make holes through resin rosettes with a heated awl if the holes were not there.Other rhinestone clusters can be used too. This sweet rosette polymer clay tutorial is easy even for beginners. It is by Meredith over at Haute to Sew. As this one is so small, earrings are also possible.
