A Super Turk's Head Knotted Bracelet Tutorial Posted: 16 Nov 2012 05:16 AM PST The tutorials I featured some time ago were on how to make Turk's Head knotted bracelets. This popular and ancient knot has been used by sailors for centuries. I mentioned these can be made with the help of a cylinder such as a tin can but did not find a tutorial at that time which demonstrated it. Now here is a super one which does just that! It's by George who writes the What Knot Now blog. Not only does he show how he uses a can to make the bracelet, he also includes nifty tips like the use of elastic bands to hold on to the bights (the places where the cords change direction). Sailors might be able to make the knot without additional aids but beginners will be glad for them. These make excellent masculine bracelets! Before You Go:
