I have to admit Christmas trees are my favorite of all the symbols of Christmas which jewelry makers commonly use in designs. I amassed a colletion of Christmas tree tutorials in past posts (see first link below). Here are two more! I particularly love the macrame with beads Christmas tree video tutorial by Macrame School.
These make large earrings, pendants or even ornaments. The design can be scaled down to make smaller trees if you prefer daintier earrings.
Button stash, too? Put some buttons of the right size together for either earrings or ornaments. I don't think the buttons need all be green. You can also use pony beads for the trunk. This tutorial is from NBeads.
If you know how to bend wire, then make a Christmas tree frame and wire in strings of beads to fill the space. This inspiration (not tutorial) was shared by Heather Power over on the Art Bead Scene blog. It was made as an ornament but it is possible to make smaller frames and use tiny seed beads for earrings!
