Not all of us like ear cuffs. If you have pierced ears, here is a wonderful alternative - ear pins! Daniela over on
Curly Made has a simple tutorial on how to make ear pins. She was inspired by this artisan
Arajera on Etsy who makes a lot of ear pins.
She originally made plain bar earrings and then decided to also add beads to the wire. These are basically ear wires integrated with dangles which are worn up along the ear.
The key to it working at all is to make the back end of the ear wire
fit close to the ear. So the U-bend is very small indeed. It also helps to use lighter beads. Curving the wire is another option.
Ear pins are lovely and delicate, aren
't they?
