Make a Faux Agate Pendant from Polymer Clay

Some of the most creative projects come from those who work with polymer clay.  I thought this faux agate pendant tutorial made with polymer clay was very clever indeed.  It is by Francesca over on the Fall for DIY blog.

I never thought you could freeze and grate polymer clay!  This is cool because it simulates the natural variation of gemstone slices. That final touch of crystal glass to mimic the look of a geode is brilliant.

Now you can make faux geodes in any color. Maybe even scale it down for cool earrings. The best part is these will not weigh as much as the real thing.
