Shireen Nadir, of the Blue Brick, who was featured on this blog before, is an extraordinary crafter as well as a jewelry maker. She started making resin jewelry after photographing many leaves. It was a natural progression to embedding them.
Her leaf resin pendant or ornament tutorial shares many tips including the use of a silicone trivet for making multiple designs all at once. Silicone molds are the bomb because you do not need any release agent for removing them.
These make great ornaments for gifting!
Try sourcing other molds if you prefer smaller sizes. Finishing is also up to you. She just did some basic wire work around the pendant or ornaments. Or drill a hole and add a bail. Or perhaps consider beaded bezel work.
