Post Earrings as Emergency Eyeglass Screw

Posted: 18 Jan 2013 05:00 AM PST

I wear glasses and if you do too then you will understand the frustration of losing the tiny screws which hold lenses in place.  I've taken to carrying a watchmaker's screwdriver around at times so I can screw the little annoying thing back in place.  But sometimes, the screw falls out completely and can't be found. So what do you do?

Use an earring post to save the day at least until you can get to the optometrist!

I've introduced one designer before who uses earring posts and backs as fasteners.  I am sure there are more than one way to use earring posts and backs creatively!
