Ribbon and Brooch Combination Jewelry Tutorial

Brooches are coming back in fashion but with modern twists.  One great example to update brooch use as well as add a stronger visual impact is to add a ribbon to it.



Amber over at Real Purdy created this simple but stunning combination with felt ribbon and a brooch.  The color punch from the ribbon and the rhinestones go well together. You can naturally use any kind of ribbon, not just felt.  And experiment with ribbon flourishes.


So maybe dress up that heavy coat of yours and chase away the winter blahs?
