THE BEADING GEM'S JOURNAL

Another Collection of Easy Chain Jewelry Tutorials

Chains are very versatile components for jewelry making.  They can be used in all sorts of creative ways and not just something to hang pendants and focal sections on!

I really like the easy peasy double chain bracelet tutorial by Ekaterina on the Katrinshine blog shown above. Colored cord do make a difference in an otherwise plain bracelet.

Another simple idea with a big bang is the double chain with beads bracelet from Rinchen Dé of the High on DIY blog. She linked the two with varying bead and wire lengths.  As you can see, it looks stunning with other bracelets.

Erin Seigel's chevron necklace tutorial for Ornamentea is clever as the chains and bugle beads from a chevron pattern.

Cynthia Deis' Xanadu earrings design also for Ornamentea shows how ribbon ends or clamps can be used to secure several lengths of chain.

All these tutorials are great examples of how to use your beading supplies differently!
