How to Make Your Own Adjustable Focal Ring Tutorial

I really love finding adjustable ring tutorials.  It's the only way to go to maximise the chances of handmade rings fitting the greatest number of people!  I simply love this adjustable wire wrapped focal ring tutorial by Rena over on her blog, the Jewelry Making Journal. It resembles the ever popular wire wrapped ring design except that the ring band is open. Clever!



One of the tricky bits is to make the wire bends really close together. She squishes the fold together with her pliers.  The other thing to note is how Rena cuts the final wire ends so they are on top of the ring where they won't irritate the wearer.
