Endless Leather's $50 Giveaway for Leather Supplies | Fun Designs Feature

Endless Leather is really well named.  This Germany based company has an incredible array of European leather and cord in delicious colors, textures and patterns.  Rounds, flats, metallic, snakeskin effect - you name it, they probably have it. All superb quality items.  One lucky winner of this giveaway will find out for his or herself!

They sent me some samples shown above which gives an inkling of the ever changing variety they have.  I also received additional cords for the designs below.  My favorite from their collection are their round stitched leather cords.  They come in all kinds of animal skin prints. The metallic ones will please those who love bling. These are not solid leather but have cotton cores. The softer cores makes the cord easier to work with and to wear.

I also love their excellent findings especially the stainless steel ones.  These were also part of the package I received for review.

They now stock 4 mm natural silk twisted cord.  Just perfect for the sautoir necklace with a shell inspired cloisonne pendant. Sautoirs are currently trending.  The beginner tutorial with tips on how to make it interchangeable and how to deal with the silk cord ends will be out later this week. A hat tip to reader Heather over at BluKatDesign who makes a number of sautoirs.  I think she had one design where she placed the clasp which I thought was an excellent position.

As I mentioned before, the round stitched leather cord is a delight to work with and looks stylish when worn.  The crystal pierced leather necklace tutorial will also be out later this week.

I used their beautiful crackle round stitched leather cord for this collaborative project entitled "Tribal Mask".  This is an example of pareidolia! There is a  reason why we tend to see faces in unusual places -  we are "prewired" to see faces (and recognize familiar patterns) from birth because it is of biological advantage.

The polymer clay pendant is by Helen Breil, a polymer clay artist - my friend and fellow member of the Grand River Bead Society.  Her distinctive style of polymer clay focals is covered in her Shapes book.
