Spirograph Inspired String Art Pendant Tutorial

String art pendants and earrings were popular a while ago (see links below).  If you like them, you have to check out this marvelous tutorial by Erin Norris who has an Etsy store called Stealth and Aces.


The large spirograph inspired pendant is different from the jewelry I wrote about before. It is created from circular plastic canvas and embroidery floss.

Erin says she had to experiment a lot to figure out how to string the thread in color sections. As you can see the results are just wonderful.  Shown here are some of her creations.  So head on over and check out all her tips and tricks so you can make your own.


I also love what her blog banner reads - " Refusing to be constrained by a single medium".  Great line  by a highly creative individual.
