How to Make Patriotic Jewelry II Tutorials

Posted: 23 Jun 2012 04:00 AM PDT

Patriotic jewelry designs are most versatile. Just change the colors and you'll be able to match whatever nation's flag colors you fancy.

The tutorials shown here might seem like they are just for Americans but did you know that red, blue and white also feature in the flags of many other nations?  France, The Netherlands, Russian Federation, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Norway and  Iceland are just some notable examples. Skip blue and we get the flag colors of Canada and Denmark.  You get the drift.  Use these tutorials to display some patriotic fervor on your national holidays.

Megan Patton's Oh Say Can You See earrings tutorial features fun beaded stars.

She also designed a matching brooch. The multiple stars are a lovely touch aren't they?

Julie Bean used long Miyuki magatamas to create the Wreath of Independence bracelet. Wreath is a great name for it and also reminds us that with some color changes, it could be a Christmas one too.

Using silver stars and the appropriate colored crystals is what turns Andrea Morici's Stars and Stripes Forever earrings patriotic besides its name!

She carries over the same design theme with her bracelet tutorial.
