Granny squares are fun and colorful to crochet. But just in case you think these are only for dishcloths, afghans, bags and larger projects, think again! They can also be used for making jewelry but on a smaller scale. You'll have to use either embroidery floss or crochet thread and small hooks. It really helps to make normal size granny squares first before switching to making tiny squares.

basic granny square pattern was from Purl Bee (North America). If you are based in Australia or the UK, you'll need
