How to Make a Stunning Paracord Macrame Necklace Tutorial

Paracord comes in many colors. As the most common size (550) is fairly thick, the cord lends itself very well to big and bold designs.  I just love this easy and stunning paracord macrame necklace tutorial by Viviana Soler over on the Alonso Sobrino blog.

It doesn't say so on the blog post but you need 8 cords (in pairs of 4 colors) of 1 yard each .  The neon ones used in the video look fun too!

One suggestion is to tie or sew the loose ends together.  If they are bundled first, the gluing in the end caps will last longer.  If you cannot get these types of end caps, make your own from wire (use an appropriately sized wooden dowel as a mandrel).  Check out my past tutorial on How to Make Secure Wire Cord Ends with Spirals or Scrolls - you can omit the decorate spirals or scrolls if you wish.
