But also consider it for original jewelry holders or displays as well.  Polymer clay jewelry dishes, as Laura Gummerman said, are perfect for "ring litterers" - people who leave rings, especially stacking rings around the house and lose them. Her gorgeous tutorial over on A Beautiful Mess shows off a marbled design.  I like how she added gold gilding around the edges. Jewelry dishes don't have to be for just rings - favorite bracelets and earrings you wear a lot are also applicable.  If you prefer less colorful designs, check out Erica's tutorial over on Honestly, WTF.  The subtle pattern comes from a doily.  Erica was inspired by German blogger Caro's tutorial on Sodapop Design.
