Winner of Little Windows' Giveaway for Resin Jewelry Supplies | Cut Out Design Feature

Quite a few of you have yet to try resin judging from the comments on last week's giveaway from Little Windows.  It is a lot of fun as you can see from my designs.  Like any method, it does take practice. Then there is the photography!  I find it more challenging to photograph resin jewelry especially with the transparent ones as shown in my tutorial on how to make retro go-go resin jewelry using cut out designs.

I mentioned that my friend's cold studio meant she struggled to get the resin to cure.  Here is what Fran had to say, "While working in a nice warm space is best, with Brilliant Resin the temperature in your creative space isn't nearly as important as it is with other brands. As long as your Part A is warm, your pieces should set up just fine. Thin resin = easier mixing and bubble release, so warm up your Part A following the tips on the label (brief microwave or warm water bath), and have fun :)"  My studio is in my basement. I do as Fran suggests and have had no issues.

Little Windows' video tutorials are great for getting started.  Amy said, "Since watching this video the other day, I have so many ideas floating in my head!" That is exactly what happened to me when I first stumbled on them myself.  There are so many ways to be creative with this medium.

I would like to thank Wayne for adding, "I do want to take the opportunity to tell you how much I appreciate your comparative and unbiases analysis of the different products."  I am a naturally curious person and am always experimenting and testing things out.  It is never enough to say if something is good.  Makes sense to share the reasons why!

There is a small code correction (it doesn't matter if you used the one I first wrote) if you wish to use Little Windows' special 15% off discount for all readers! Use this code : BG1516.

One lucky winner of this giveaway will not need the code this time!  I numbered all the eligible entries and got the random number generator over on random.org to do the picking.  And the winner is, Tallulah Jane!  Congratulations!
