How to Adapt Beaded Necklace Patterns for Christmas Ornaments  More Recent Articles  Search The Beading Gem's Journal How to Adapt Beaded Necklace Patterns for Christmas Ornaments Not to long ago, somebody asked me if there were beading patterns for Christmas ornaments.  I did come across them before (see end of first link below) but designer Sandra Halpenny has an even easier approach.  Just use a beaded necklace pattern which has a repeating pattern. Her tutorial shows how to adapt one of her free beading necklace patterns into a beaded ornament. The necklace part goes around the middle of the ornament.   You then add a beaded ring at the top and connect it to the central portion.  Adding a fringe is optional.  Cool tip!
