Here are two beadwork tutorials which show different ways to depict rose petals. They are both round in shape. The first is the
beaded bullion rose tutorial by Janie's Beads. Here the "petals" are suggested by seed bead whorls. These little bullion roses can easily be made into earrings or linked together for other jewelry pieces.
The
second round beaded rose petal tutorial from
Koralikowaweraph is more challenging as the dodecahedron (12 sided ball) is hollow. 12 florets are prepared with beading at the back of each floret. So the connection of the florets is accomplished by the beads at the back outer edges. As you can imagine the last floret will be tricky!
