Two Round Beaded Rose Petal Tutorials

Here are two beadwork tutorials which show different ways to depict rose petals.  They are both round in shape.  The first is the beaded bullion rose tutorial by Janie's Beads. Here the "petals" are suggested by seed bead whorls. These little bullion roses can easily be made into earrings or linked together for other jewelry pieces.

The second round beaded rose petal tutorial  from Koralikowaweraph is more challenging as the dodecahedron (12 sided ball) is hollow. 12 florets are prepared with beading at the back of each floret. So the connection of the florets is accomplished by the beads at the back outer edges. As you can imagine the last floret will be tricky!

This tutorial is not in English. So you will need to translate the pages. For computer users, use the Chrome browser, right click and select translate to EnglishFor mobile device users, use the Chrome app (free) and agree to the translation when asked.
