Easy Loopy Wire Wrapped Cuff Tutorial

There are different ways of making a wire bangle or cuff foundation so beads can be wired onto it.  I did a coiled wire version before. This easy loopy cuff tutorial by Juliet of Spoilt Rotten Beads, is based on a foundation with wire loops at intervals.  I particularly love the introduction of little wire coils here and there during the wire wrapping process. It made for a very pretty bracelet design!

If you prefer a static tutorial or need to know the supply list, the written instructions are here.  She uses 16G wire which is a good thickness for the base.  The wire wrapping is done with 26G wire - I too prefer this thickness for wrapping because it is stronger than 28G.  Besides the 26G takes a little less time in wire wrapping and is more visible.
