Jazz Up Your Earphone Cord with Macrame and Beads!

I use my earphones all the time - at my computer and on my mobile devices.  But aren't they a tad dull?  You can jazz them up for sure and personalize them the way you like it!  One popular way is to use fusible Perler beads to add considerable color. But Greek crafter and blogger, Christina (Imagine Hearts) has another idea.

Her tutorial shows how you can use the basic macrame square stitch and some beads to make earphones more colorful as well as protect them better from daily wear and tear.

She uses thin nylon cord the ends of which can be sealed with a lighter. This is necessary as she is working with 2 m lengths of cord.  However, if you prefer other kinds of cords, you will have to glue the ends or sew them (be careful not to pierce the earphone cord itself).
