Crochet Fruit Pendants and Charms Tutorials Posted: 05 Apr 2012 04:00 AM PDT I love fruit and eat lots of it. I also like to crochet. Put together and what do you get? Fun crochet fruit pendants and key chain charms, arigurumi style! These tutorial designs are quick to do and what's more, they use up scrap yarn! Make several kinds and you will also have a cute bowl of miniature yarn fruit! You can also experiment with finer yarn or crochet thread and smaller hook sizes for reduced fruit sizes if you prefer smaller pendants. This awesome pineapple motif pendant necklace tutorial is by Kayla over at Kayla K's Thrifty Ways. As you can see, it doesn't have to be yellow! Heidi over at Speckless has a sweet crochet pear pendant pattern. Petit Tricoteuse over on Craftster has the apple tutorial equivalent. Make it in orange for the citrus fruit. Grapes are not only delicious but a bunch of them are wonderful in all sorts of designs. Check out Bittersweet's Heart It Through the Grapevine tutorial. Cherries are small enough for earrings as you can see from RoxyCraft's Cherry Pickers crochet earrings tutorial. An alternative crochet tutorial for double cherries is here - the tops of the cherries are shaped differently. Chocolate dipped strawberries by Naida's Crochet. Watermelon slice tutorial by dee on the Home School Blogger site. Don't like yarn necklaces, then be sure to check out the beaded versions in the first link below! Via Before You Go:
