Recycle a Neck Tie into a Necklace AND a Wallet!

Some men's ties are made from silk or at the very least luxurious looking fabric.  So why not recycle an unwanted neck tie into some really cool accessories?

It's been done before but this video tutorial uploaded by MadebyMarzipan has a different twist. The necklace is the classic hidden bead style.

She not only shows how the tie is dismantled but covers what to do with the widest portion. Very little is wasted.

You not only get a necklace but a bonus wallet complete with a key chain loop. Perfect for cell phones or other small items!
